When our customer’s volume increased to the point that manual machine setup and assembly of inserts became inefficient, IVP, designed and built a automatic insertion robotic cell. This automation project resulted in increased throughput, labor, and setup reduction. It also provided significant quality improvements during this important stage when previous processes could not meet increasing demand.
