There’s no better way to visualize your idea’s potential than to see it, hold it and watch it perform. But heading straight from design into production isn’t always a good idea. When you want the most economical option to produce a one-off sample, hundreds of parts—or if you’re struggling to make a new idea work—our rapid plastic prototyping experts can help.

Ideal Environment for Experimentation

Advances in technology make plastic prototyping an affordable way to avoid unnecessary investment costs, quickly validate ideas, and test tooling, materials, fit or performance. Most prototypes present opportunities for improvement. And by making proactive changes, we can help you reduce time to market, failures, defects, scrap, rework, poor performance and liability issues.

SLA & SLS Prototypes

Using a proven CAD model—that we develop or you provide—we can create clear, hard or flexible Stereolithography (SLA) prototypes, or Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) parts, in just days. Our plastic SLS prototypes have run in test engines and carried water through trial faucets. We’ve created some out of metal and other materials to simulate thermoplastic elastomers.

Finishing & Testing

Once your plastic prototype is complete, we can assemble, add chrome, paint, or apply other finishes that meet your standards. You can use the completed prototype to gather functional test data and feedback from your customers, before moving into production.

Bridging the Prototype-to-Production Gap

Our prototype molds are designed to meet your sample requirements, from 10 – 10,000 parts, with cost effective designs to minimize complicated or expensive side actions with manual inserts or post machining.
